Let us help you choose your foods. We have conveniently labeled the self serve items in three different colors. Foods with: Green Utensils- Means "Go." These foods are high in nutrients and low in calories. You can use them as generously as you would like. The green dressing ladels are those with 50 calories per one ounce or 2 tablespoon serving. (Our serving ladle is one ounce.) Yellow Utensils- Means "Proceed with Caution." These foods have more calories than the green utensils as well as generous amounts of protein and healthy fats. Try to use a moderate portion of about a quarter cup. The yellow dressing ladels are 150 calories or less per one ounce or 2 tablespoon serving. (Our serving ladel is 1 ounce.) Red Utensils- Means "Stop." These food items are calorie and fat dense and should only be used sparaingly. The red dressings have more than 150 calories per one ounce or 2 tablespoon serving. (Again, our ladel is one ounce.)
